Lust or Love (this is old)

Stricken with lust,
My heart shall bust.
Drying the tears,
Never a friend near.

The moon a light,
Only it sees my fright.
Call to the stars!
But, please, don't wonder too far.

It may not be love.
It isn't unheard of.
What is this nightmare,
pain, pleasure and dispair.

Call my name,
For I have no shame.
Stab me in the chest,
Live with the rest.

The pain that is caused,
The dreamed has paused.
A dream I say no more,
Now a lifetime inside these doors.

Why bare all of this?
Why let this exist..
Why not stop me,
Not an I, but a we..

I'm not talking to you,
Nor talking to me.
I'm talking to a few,
More love no one can see.

Moutain eating the moon,
The earth birthing the sun.
The morning will come quite soon.
Nothing to be undone.

Everything is set,
The last tear hitting ground.
Love lost on a bet,
Nothing else to be found.

Can you see,
The owl within the tree.
He knows it all,
Starting from my fall.

I ramble on and on.
Not finding where to stop,
A glow, the breast of a swan,
Finally reaching everything but top.

A moment of lust,
Still hasn't crumbled to dust.
I know it won't change,
This feeling isn't strange.

I'll let it last,
Like I've done in the past.
Two types of pain,
The binds of this chain.

I don't know my mind
It's something I am yet to find.
I do know my heart,
Has been taken apart.

Whether this be lust,
Or if it were love.
I know one very thing,
But, I will never explain.

Excellent poetry, very interesting, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Keep making poetry, you could probably even write a song.
